Routine Part of Life in Solitary was made with newspaper and magazine clippings, image transfer gel plate printing, paint, and ink, to create a multi-layered and textured piece that contains a manner of both macro and micro detail.

Care Instructions:

• handle the printed surface of the piece as little as possible, touching only the edges
• do not touch the printed area of the piece
• oils and debris from skin will seep into the paper and degrade it over time
• exposure to direct sunlight over long periods of time will cause the ink to fade
• display piece behind glass, in a room where it is not in direct sunlight for much of the day
